Tuck-Me-In at the library

At the end of July, the library had an event called "tuck-me-in".  On this night, the kids came in their pjs with an animal of their choice (but it was stressed that the child NOT bring their favorite).  The animals were having a sleepover at the library!  We got there and the animals got a name tag and settled in for a few stories.
Then, they got to color a picture that would be laminated (for what we weren't sure about... yet).
And then, they tucked their animals into bed for the night, and we went home.  This was almost a disaster with Lexi.  Right now, Hop-Hop is #3 on the list so I thought we would be fairly safe (although he still sleeps at the foot of her bed).  She was OK until we were ready to leave, without Hop-Hop in tow.  So glad I talked her out of taking Cheetah or Doggy, her absolutely favorites that she cuddles with.  But boy was she insistant on bringing them.

The next day, we came back to the library to pick up our animals.  When we picked them up, they got a bookmark (made for them by their animals), and a book full of pictures of all the adventures they animals went on throughout the night.  It was so cute!!

I took pictures of the book so you could see.  Try and find Bear and Hop-Hop in the pictures.  This was their favorite part- seeing what their animals did while they were sleeping at home :)
