Peavy Arboretum

One day, in between the rain showers, we went to Peavy Arboretum for a little hike to check out the salamanders at the lake.  I was so sure this would be a big hit.  But, it wasn't.  Bubble burst :(.  Devan just wanted to throw rocks in the lake.  And Lexi was obsessed with going potty.  She really had to go, but just didn't want to potty on fancy leaves ;)

 The highlight of the hike???  A banana slug!  Big surprise there...  They kept putting rocks in front of it and the slug just went over.  And Lexi really really really wanted to touch it....

Beach Day

One day, Dustin and Grammy took the kids to the coast.  I can't remember what I was doing- something with wedding stuff I'm sure.  I think it was rehearsal night and I was busy with that stuff.  Kids went to the coast, got wore out, and slept the hour drive back to town so they were nice and refreshed for rehearsal :)

 

I hear they had a great experience and saw lots of sea lions on the beach!  How cool would that have been????

So, I don't have many pictures from the wedding.  We worked our tails off!  But luckily, Dustin snapped a few random ones, so that's what I've posted below.  So, we will just have to wait for the professional ones (and the ones on my parents camera).

All the kids got ring pops and little coloring books with crayons.  What a good idea so we could eat in peace!

Getting back into it (or rather, trying to!)

Well...  I can't believe it's been so long since I did this.  LOTS of catching up to do.  This summer has flown on by.  We went to Oregon and Virginia, and have been soaking in the gorgeous summer weather.  At times, the kids have been very trying with their constant fighting/name calling/hitting/etc etc.  I am seriously drained and ready to lock myself in the bathroom ;)  Just hoping that this phase comes to an end soon....  It can't last forever, right????

So, now I'm going to attempt to post some pictures.  And in no particular order, because that takes too much effort right now :)  And I can't go off outfits because they only had 4, so we (I mean Grammy) did laundry almost every day.
