Portland Zoo

One day we had perfect zoo weather- around 70 and partly cloudy.  We had our sweaters, but weren't getting fried.  And, the animals were more active.  Although, it's kind of a mess with all the new construction they're doing.  But once it's all done, the zoo is going to be so awesome!!!

I was so disappointed that the elephant exhibit was under major construction.  They are by far my favorite.  And they were so far away in this pen.  Usually you can get so close!  But the images they had posted all over showing the new habitat is going to be amazing.

The birds weren't hungry today, so no feeding them, much to the kid's disappointment.  They were really looking forward to it.  But, it was mating season and Lexi kept yelling at them to stop fighting.  LOL.

 So tired....
