Bella's birthday party in VA

Right after we got back from OR, we unpacked and re-packed for our trip down to VA.  We were all exhausted and our routines were all messed up.  Overall, the kids did pretty good.  At least we got to hang out with our friends :)

 

Kids testing out their sleeping arrangements in the hotel- sharing a pull-out sofa.  What an interesting night!  The first night they did lots of wrestling before falling asleep.  But the second night they went right to bed, exhausted.

 

Bella's party was a Tinkerbell/fairy/pirate themed party.  We went early and helped Jen set up all the decorations at the clubhouse in our old neighborhood.

 Lexi preferred to be a pirate.  She wasn't too excited about the fairy stuff.

Pizza, cupcakes, Tinkerbell games, more games, face painting, and lots of running around.  After helping to take ALL the decorations down and cleaning up after 30 kids (gross!), we got in the car and started the long trip home.  We got back really really late, exhausted.  Of course, the kids slept pretty much the entire trip back, which was a blessing.  I didn't want to listen to them whine about sitting in traffic since it was the week of July 4th and EVERYONE was leaving town  :)
