Mother's Day activity at Chick-fil-A

Twice a month, the local Chick-fil-A has a "kid zone".  Sometimes it's story time, sometimes it's a game like Bingo, sometimes it's a craft, sometimes it's an activity like a tour of the kitchen.  A great way for them to draw people in because usually after the activity, all the moms stay and have lunch while the kids play.

This one was for Mother's Day.  Lexi picked out a painted jar, painted her hands and then pressed them on the sides like she was holding the jar.  While we were waiting for it to dry, she snacked on some fruit and milk and I had a coffee.

When it was dry, she wrapped it up in tissue paper and a ribbon, and put in a card.  It was a "surprise" for me :)

The jar is now on my desk holding my pens, scissors, etc :)
