Spring is here! One Saturday we went to some festival in the Woodlands, with food, music, and activities.
Chick-fil-A Kid Time (sponsored in part by Home Depot): planting a spring flower. Lexi chose a flower, planted it, and got to take it home. She was so excited and it was her job to water her flower every day.
Progress on our landscaping: the back trees are planted, and irrigation ran to each one. Now to bury the pipe....
Front flowers planted and rock is done. Just waiting on all the pink "helicopter seeds" from the maple trees to drop before spreading yards and yards of mulch.
Lexi got a Valentine in the mail from her PA friend Reese! I think it got a bit lost.....
Easter cards from Nana and Papa
Devan's art project from school using wax crayon, watercolor, and salt to decorate Easter eggs
He made a little Easter basket in class
Lexi's footprint art project from school. The teacher painted the bottom of their foot and the kids turned it into an Easter bunny.
Lexi's card she made at the library storytime
Doing handwriting at home
Chilling on the back patio
Lexi and I assembled a bird house and then she got busy painting it. It hung on a back tree until the vultures destroyed it a couple weeks ago :(
