Devan's school work:
This letter was hilarious! He had to write a letter to us, convincing us of something. He really wants a fish and actually came up with some good points.
BBES family night!!! Friday night, we went to Devan's school to watch the movie Inside Out on a big screen on the lawn. We brought blankets and chairs and snacks. And the kids played on the playground while watching the movie. I didn't think we would stay the whole time because we've tried to watch this movie before at home and Devan quickly lost interest. But, he sat and was enthralled the whole time. Must be an environment thing....
Devan's birthday party invites are done and ready to go out!
We're reading in his chapter book and it said "they turned on the TV and slid the tape into the VCR". Devan says "What's a VCR?" I just couldn't stop laughing!!!! Oh, to be so young.... LOL! (At least I know he's thinking about what he's reading and not just going through the motions...)
