As a fundraiser this year, the school had an art show in the evening. Each grade level worked on a different piece of art (ie- Kinder did cupcakes, 3rd did flowers in a vase). They worked hard for weeks on this and they were all displayed in frames. On the night of the art show, they had cookies and lemonade and everyone dressed up nice. All pieces of art were displayed down the hallway in frames so families could walk around and look at all of them. You could purchase the framed artwork for $25. And in the gym they had music and games. It was a fun and very creative evening! (We are grubby because both kids came straight from practice to this event).
