Wilmington Blue Rocks

2 Saturdays ago, we went to a Wilmington Blue Rocks baseball game.  It was a family event coordinated by the MOMS Club, so we all got excellent seats and we all sat together.  Devan was in heaven!  He got to watch "big kids" play baseball and he got to hang out with his friends.  Aside from some sprinkles, it was a perfect night.  Not too cold and we didn't get baked in the sun.  I was expecting to get through about 3 innings before Lexi was ready to head home and go to bed, since it was a 6 pm game.  But, we made it through the whole game!  With 2 innings left, she started to get tired and whiny, but we managed to keep her entertained until the end.  We made it this far, so I wanted to stay and watch the fireworks at the end.  And what a show it was!  Just like the 4th of July!  It was awesome!!!  And both kids loved it.  It was a lot of fun.  Devan had so much fun with his friends and soaked up every moment of the "big kids" baseball experience.  And all the kids loved it when they hit foul balls right over us :)  And of course, Rocky the moose was a big hit :)  And the "silly wiggly people" that would come out and dance between innings.  They actually did a really good job at having some sort of quick entertainment between innings for the kids.  We might have to do it again :)

I didn't get many pics because I was laughing at the kids most of the time.  They were hysterical all hyped up on special treats from the game.  Very entertaining :)
