A couple weeks ago was our annual mud run. I drove down to Hailey's house Friday morning (3.5 hrs) and we continued on down to Richmond for the run at 6 (another 2.5 hrs). This year, one of Carrie's friends, Beth, joined us. Hopefully we can continue the tradition and get more people together to run!
It was a good race. We didn't get that dirty though. The "mud pit" this year was bark mulch and water. So after we dried off, there wasn't that much mud. The bark mulch just wiped right off. Oh well.
After the race we drove back up to Hailey's house and got there a little before midnight. On my nighstand, Grace left me this sweet note and treat. She's such a sweetheart :)
