Dustin's trip to Paris

Dustin's trip to Paris- by Dustin himself! (I know what you're thinking.... he actually wrote on the blog!!!)

This is the street the hotel was on. All the buildings look a like. You could always find a parking space because you use your car to bump the others out of the way. It is amazing how close they are.

Eiffel Tower at night. It is much more impressive at night then in the day.

Video from under the Eiffel Tower:

All the bikes are lined up so you can rent them. You then return them wherever you want and then pay the fee for how long they were out.

Bakeries everywhere

Spent $45 on two bowls of ice cream. Can't believe how much money that was. This was on the Champs de Elysees (in English Shawn de Alizay)

Behind the ambulance is an automatic outhouse that is cleaned after each use. It is free. The people looking at it, are trying to figure out how it works.

How romantic

This is one of the many palaces. Also one of the few pieces of grass in Paris, and yet there is time for a roller hockey game. How fun.

Prison in the middle of the city. Even they look cool.

River that runs through the city.

Video of the Great Museum. It's so big that cars drive thru it!

Here is Louvre. Underneath is the Mona Lisa

Notre Dame

Side of Notre Dame:

Main entrance to Notre Dame:

All of the churches have intricate stained glass that are over 4 stories tall.

They dragged this over from Egypt and placed it in the city center. It's called the Excalibur

This is the reflecting pool. Basically there is a strip just like the National Mall in DC. One end is the Musee Du Louvre (great museum) and the other end is Excalibur.

All of the buildings in the town of Rouen are so old that they are starting to tilt. If you look at the building in the picture it looks like it it is leaning to the right. Another example of the buildings leaning. You can really see it here. Look at how narrow they are as well. Believe it or not, you can pick one up for under 500,000 Euros! Pretty cheap real estate.

Here is the outside of the church in Rouen with the crazy eyes.
This is what the inside of a church looks like in a town called Rouen.

Nice work Dustin. It's good to hear from you. I'm surprised you had that much time to look around. Know any French?! (before you left anyway). Love Chris
